Itsy Bitsy Storytime is an early literacy program that uses rhymes, books and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for reading. It incorporates music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, developmental tips, nursery rhymes, and book reading into a fun-filled 25 minute session for infants to 2 year olds and their caregivers. Research shows that children get ready to read years before they start school. You can help your baby and toddler learn important skills know so they will become good readers in the future.

In addition, learning to code helps to strengthen problem-solving skills and logical thinking and supports key academic subjects, like math and science. Code Club lets tweens and teens have fun, collaborate and create while they also learn critical skills. Recently, Show Low Public Library received a grant from the National Network of Libraries of Medicine to create a "Healthy Living" section at the library. In addition to this section, the library is offering programs to promote health and wellness for families with children. This club will meet monthly with valuable information on how to raise healthy children. Topics covered will include nutrition, exercise for kids, and emotional well-being. All parents of children of all ages are welcome to attend. Adults, ages 18+

Itsy Bitsy Storytime is an early literacy program that uses rhymes, books and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for reading. It incorporates music, movement, repetition, positive reinforcement, developmental tips, nursery rhymes, and book reading into a fun-filled 25 minute session for infants to 2 year olds and their caregivers. Research shows that children get ready to read years before they start school. You can help your baby and toddler learn important skills know so they will become good readers in the future.

Learning to code is an increasingly critical skill. It's important for children to know how to use technology, but even more important for them to know how technology works. In addition, learning to code helps to strengthen problem-solving skills and logical thinking and supports key academic subjects, like math and science. Code Club lets tweens and teens have fun, collaborate and create while they also learn critical skills.

Code Club is for everyone ages 8-13 who wants to learn how to code or continue stretching their coding skills. Hope to see you there! #ShowLowAZ #AZWhiteMountains.
